Being first time shooters, we wanted somebody we could connect with and not feel intimidated with during the process. I read the reviews about Rick's Piston Training and WOW, so many great comments about Rick and his teaching style.. We reached out to Rick about learning how to shoot safely and correctly. First of all, the last time I actually shot a gun was back in '84. I wanted to learn more about how to shoot and try different type of guns. We met Rick one afternoon at Cameo and spent three great hours with him learning about gun safety, proper securing of the weapon, stance, how to hold the gun, and of course shooting the guns. Rick taught us the safety procedures involved with loading a firearm, clearing a jam & how to move safely while holding a firearm. We were able to ask questions and proceed at our own pace.
